BC 50/50 Overview

BC 50/50 is a raffle and is one of the most popular lottery games in British Columbia.

In order to enter the game, participants must choose how many picks they want to go for, then purchase their tickets. Tickets have different prices, depending on the picks numbers. The maximum wager per ticket is $100. Each pick costs $1 up to 4 picks, then after that there are discounts for buying 6 or 15 picks.

The ticket will have the date and number of the draw printed out on it. The random number generator of the lottery, which operates simultaneously with a central server and is responsible for selecting the 50/50 winning numbers for every draw, will generate one six-digit selection from the pool of possible six-digit numbers ranging from 000001 to 999999.

BC 50/50 Prizes

The game doesn’t suggest that players have a 50% chance of winning but instead that half of the prize money will be given to the province of British Columbia. The probability of winning is based on how many people enter each draw.

The best part is that there is a guaranteed winner for each of the four daily draws. Prize payouts are usually between $300 and $3000 but they vary based on how many players enter the draws. More tickets sold mean a greater prize pool and a higher percentage of ticket sales awarded to the winner.
