Lottario Overview
Lottario was launched on November 18, 1978 and is operated by the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation. Its format changed in 2015 when extra prize tiers were introduced and the chances of winning were improved.
A Lottario ticket costs $1.00 for two lines. There are two draws per ticket, a Main Draw and an Early Bird Draw. Tickets purchased before midnight on Friday are entered automatically in the Early Bird Draw.
To enter the game, participants must choose six numbers between 1 and 45 on up to 10 boards. Players have to match at least three numbers to win a prize in the Main Draw and four numbers to win at least a share of the $50,000 Early Bird jackpot.
